January 21st A Day of Fate, Kindness, and New Beginnings

I remember January 21st so clearly it wasn’t just another business trip it was the day that changed everything. I was in Ahmedabad, on a mission to check my product samples, but what I gained was far greater than just samples. That day, life introduced me to some truly wonderful people Chandni ma’am, Manish sir, Aditi ma’am, and most importantly, Praful sir.

I always call him Praful Bhaiya, and I still do because he isn’t just a mentor he is someone who genuinely cares. He was the second person in my life to believe in my ideas truly, and that meant everything to me. His faith, his encouragement, and the way he listened made me realize that maybe, just maybe, I was onto something bigger than I had ever imagined.

That day was filled with coincidences that led me to meet these amazing people. Since I had checked out of my hotel to save money, I decided to spend the entire day at Jcrafteco’s office while waiting for my sample. Little did I know, that decision would open doors I never even knew existed.

As I sat there, a simple conversation sparked something profound. Praful Bhaiya asked me about my plans to launch my kids’ clothing brand, Ecuveraecuvera.com. When I started sharing my vision, he listened intently not just as a formality, but with genuine interest. And then, something even more unexpected happened he offered to help me in so many ways. He shared insights, gave me advice, and most importantly, answered all my questions I didn’t even know I had.

I had always felt like I lacked knowledge about the clothing industry, but that day, I found a guide. He patiently explained every little detail, every challenge, and every possible solution. His kindness wasn’t just in words it was in action.

That day’s conversations didn’t stop with him. Manish sir introduced me to a whole new perspective on the international market for sustainable clothing. His insights fascinated me and made me realize that the world of sustainable fashion is much bigger than I had ever imagined. And beyond business, his initiative of collecting and sharing random acts of kindness to make the world a better place truly inspired me.

Chandni ma’am I must have troubled her so much with my never-ending questions and requests for sample changes, yet she never once complained. Her patience, her dedication, and her willingness to help without hesitation made me appreciate the power of kindness even more.

And then there was Aditi ma’am our interaction was brief, but it left a deep impact on me. She asked me a simple question, one that made me think, Why hadn’t I thought of this before? That one moment pushed me beyond my limits and made me question everything How can I do this better? Why am I not considering this? Her words unknowingly planted the seeds of new ideas in my mind.

That day changed me.

I left that office with more than just product samples—I left with knowledge, inspiration, and a newfound hunger to learn more. When I returned from my trip, I realized I had to delay my launch—not because I failed, but because I now knew what I didn’t know. I had gaps in my understanding, and instead of rushing forward blindly, I chose to learn, grow, and prepare.

Looking back, I know that none of this was just luck. It was kindness. It was people believing in me when I didn’t even fully believe in myself. It was God answering my prayers in the form of people who guided me when I could have gone astray.

So today, I just want to say thank you.
